Culture Con

A 10,000-person cultural convening — produced as a living ecosystem, not a conference.

CultureCon is the largest creative festival for Black and brown entrepreneurs, creators, and cultural influencers. For the 2024 and 2025 editions, I served as Production & Strategic Lead— responsible for translating the event's cultural ambitions into a physical experience that felt as intentional as the programming itself.

Hosted at the Duggal Greenhouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the environment was designed to amplify themes of ownership, storytelling, and creative empowerment. Headline moments featuring Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Hudson, and 2 Chainz anchored the program, while the broader campus functioned as a living network— designed to spark conversation, circulate ideas, and extend cultural impact beyond the event itself.

Impact

Over two days, CultureCon brought together 10,000 creatives, entrepreneurs, and innovators— making it one of the largest cultural gatherings of its kind in the country. The production approach transformed a raw industrial venue into a fully realized experiential platform, generating sustained engagement for attendees, sponsors, and partners well beyond the weekend.
