Overview
Hosted at the Duggal Greenhouse, CultureCon 2025 positioned the venue as a cultural convening platform rather than a traditional conference site. Over two days, the environment brought together more than 10,000 Black and brown creatives, entrepreneurs, and innovators—using programming, spatial energy, and brand activations to foster connection, visibility, and shared momentum across culture and commerce.
Set within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, the experience leveraged the site’s industrial character to amplify themes of ownership, storytelling, and creative empowerment. Headline moments featuring voices such as Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Hudson, and 2 Chainz anchored the program, while the broader campus functioned as a living network—designed to spark conversation, circulate ideas, and extend cultural impact beyond the event itself.
Impact
CultureCon activated a platform for visibility and agency, positioning Black creativity as a central force shaping the future of culture and business. Through immersive brand moments, high-visibility talent, and a broad network of voices, the experience moved beyond the format of a traditional conference—functioning instead as a living ecosystem of ideas, ownership, and opportunity.
Rooted in Brooklyn and amplified by the scale and authenticity of the venue, the event generated sustained cultural resonance for attendees, partners, and sponsors alike—creating shared momentum that extended beyond the weekend and reinforced long-term relevance and legacy.
