Google Pixel “Minty fresh”

A citywide narrative system designed to turn product expression into cultural signal.

Google tasked Bespoke Digital with launching the Pixel 8's Mint colorway not as a product release but as a cultural moment — one that would position the phone as an artifact of creative expression rather than a tech commodity. The challenge was translating that ambition into a distributed urban campaign that felt cohesive, earned, and real.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

Working in collaboration with Bespoke Digital and Duggal Greenhouse, I led the behind-the-scenes production strategy that kept creative intent intact from concept through execution. I pressure-tested ideas against real-world production constraints, guided fabrication and material decisions, oversaw cross-functional teams across location scouting, specialized print, and OOH installation, and aligned stakeholders throughout — ensuring that what was designed could actually be built, and that what was built still carried the strategic intent of the original idea.

Impact

The Minty Fresh campaign sold out the product. It marked Google's first-ever artist collaboration for Pixel, earned coverage in The Verge and Ad Age, and demonstrated how a single colorway — handled as a cultural narrative rather than a marketing message — could generate both commercial and critical impact.

From concept to execution, Jason helped shape custom UV-printed Pixel phone cases that extended the It’s A Livinggraffiti aesthetic into a physical artifact—connecting cultural expression directly to audience experience.
