Overview
Louis Vuitton's Rainbow Project mobilized a network of flagship storefronts across the US and Europe as a shared platform for expression and visibility — rolling out simultaneously across New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, Toronto, and Mexico City. Hand-drawn rainbows created by employees and their families were translated into large-scale window installations, transforming retail facades into publicly shared symbols of optimism, creativity, and human connection during the reopening of stores following the pandemic.
My role centered on the digital capture, transformation, and production strategy that enabled the hand-drawn source material to scale consistently across markets — ensuring each window maintained visual integrity while reflecting the local character of its city.
Impact
The Rainbow Project ran across more than ten global flagship locations, generating widespread earned media and organic social circulation across multiple markets. Coverage included Hypebeast, Wonderland, SHOWstudio, Haute Living, and Footwear News. The campaign sparked a broader cultural conversation — drawing responses from Diet Prada and The Washington Post — which, regardless of framing, was evidence of the kind of reach most brand activations never achieve. Strategic production leadership ensured the concept scaled from a single hand-drawn image into a globally consistent visual system without losing its human quality.
