Overview
Louis Vuitton’s Rainbow Project mobilized a network of flagship storefronts across the U.S. and Europe as a shared platform for expression and visibility. Hand-drawn rainbows created by employees and their families were translated into large-scale window installations, transforming retail façades into publicly shared symbols of optimism, creativity, and human connection.
By inviting internal voices into the brand’s most visible surfaces, the initiative reframed luxury storefronts as cultural signals—designed to resonate beyond retail and circulate organically through earned attention, photography, and social sharing.
Impact
Reframed luxury storefronts as earned-media surfaces, turning a retail-first initiative into a widely shared cultural moment that fostered community participation and public visibility. Local contributions from employees and their families created authentic points of connection, unified by a global theme that resonated across cities and audiences.
The installations generated organic buzz across social platforms and influencer networks, with coverage from Hypebeast, amplifying reach beyond retail and into cultural media. Strategic and production leadership ensured the concept scaled consistently across markets while maintaining visual integrity and producing imagery designed to travel.
